I've decided that I don't feel like alien interlopers fit in the world of Soaring, but I still like the idea of the character of Pandora so I decided to redesign her as a Dragon Homunculus...although the term "Homunculus" feels inappropriate for a Dragon because Homunculus translates to "Little Human" So perhaps it should be called a Draculus or Draculi...but then that brings to mind Dracula. Dracula literally means "Son of the Dragon" which feels appropriate for artificial creatures made by dragons but though they are grown from blood they are not supposed to be associated with Vampires.

Homunculi are said to have spiritual powers like being able to foretell the future, if you make a Homunculus of yourself or someone else they can be used for protection or to harm the other person much like a voodoo doll or give you mastery over your own self, and have the mysterious ability to "See all things that are absent"...not sure what that means...
By dissecting a Homunculus it was said you could also gain a magical component that would allow you to walk on water.

I decided to go off the idea that making a Draculus with your own blood can be used as a means of protection and give them a somewhat limited regenerative ability. The Legion are mass producing them for medical experiments and to be used for spare parts. By dissecting and harvesting the organs of one of these Draculi they can prolong their own life once their own body starts to fail or is damaged somehow, perhaps they are even looking to make a more perfected Draculus which they can transfer their mind into and become a Higher being with the prospect of obtaining immortality!

Bys and Co. are eventually going to find the facility where they are creating the Draculi and try to shut it down and free the current Draculi being kept there, who join them to help fight against the Legion giving themselves the name "The Children of Zelophbog" to reclaim the name from the Legion seeing Zelophbog no as a monster, or evil god, but as a victim like the rest of them.

The Draculi are not Tannin and are not a Valkirtani but can be considered their own species but can take on traits and abilities of their blood donor.

Pandora herself is a very curious little girl who is gentle and caring. She takes influence from Pinto looking up to her like a big sister following her around and wanting to learn about...basically everything as well as try to help build peace without harming other dragons.
