yeah.. great. Except you didn't draw it... it's from the Osprey books.
Anyway, contemporary pictures show the Carolingian kings with short hair and mustaches. Also Reinhardt described Charlemagne as being tall and fat ^^
this is most certainly not what he may have looked like.

His real name was Karl, he was a germanic from the tribe of the Franks

Well actually he was French. Or Franconian, as something like France or Germany will not exist for the next three hundred years. If he was named Karl, or Charl or Charle or how he was pronounced, will be a matter of historical discussion the next decades, I guess
