Description
The yellow sun began to set, sending the sky into vibrant shades of orange, red, and purple. The sky always seemed to look like this in Twilight Town.

Twilight Town was a very nice place. Just something about it made it feel warm, safe. There were shops everywhere, buildings both tall and short. There was the Sandlot, where multiple local events were held, and of course the trolley that ran throughout the town. There was the train station and the multiple back streets. Of course there was the Twilight Town Highschool, where all the teenagers would go to school, and the Clock Tower, where some of them would hang out......

“Got the ice cream guys!” said a young, blonde haired boy as he walked over towards his friends.

He was the age of around 15 or so. His yellow lemon hair was spiked up to one side, his eyes a vibrant shade of blue. He had an interesting outfit, something different, and yet, normal. It fit who he was. Things that stood out the most was his black and white checkered wrist band, and a silver star like blade chain that he wore. Another thing that stood out was the muscles carved into his arms. He wasn’t exactly the strongest guy around, but he did look fit. Over-all, he was an attractive young man.

“Hey Roxas!” said a young, blonde haired girl in response. She smiled and waved to to her good friend.

You could tell that she was very beautiful. She had lovely pale skin that seemed to shine when she stepped outside, letting the suns rays hit her. She had luscious long blonde hair, with a slight wave to it. She had a very slender figure, everything about her seeming to be petite. Her outfit was very simple, a short white silk dress, nothing about it dazzling. It went along perfectly with her though, simple, yet lovely. When you glanced at her, one of the things that you would notice about her immediately were her eyes. They were the shade of ocean blue. Dark, but always having that glint in it.

“Hi Namine.” said Roxas as he grew nearer. He handed her a Twilight Town specialty. Sea-Salt Ice cream.

He walked over to his best friend Sora and handed him two. Sora gave him a thankful nod, and handed one of them to Kairi.

Sora and Kairi were great friends. Always seeming to be together, whenever given the chance.

Sora looked a lot like Roxas in a way. He had the same color eyes as him. The thing you could notice right off the bat that was different though, was his hair. Sora had spiky chocolate brown hair, compared to Roxas’ yellow blonde. He also had these cheesy smiles that he would always give. It worked for him though, and his upbeat attitude along with it blended perfectly together. He always tried to find the bright side of everything, always keeping that little bit of hope burning inside him. He was someone who would sacrifice anything for his friends for which he cared deeply for. Looking fit along with it, basically sums up who he was.

Kairi was also a lovely sight. She had auburn red hair, and a beautiful smile. She was an adventure loving girl, never minding taking a little risk. I guess you could say she was outgoing, and very kind. She wore a pink dress with long zippers along the side and the middle of it, and a small black bag with a ribbon on the side as well. She also had a nice figure to go with it, making Kairi a very nice looking girl.

She blushed when Sora handed her the ice cream, their hands touching as they did so.

Roxas threw the last two to his dirty blonde haired friend, which he had known forever it seemed like.

Hayner, the dirty blonde haired boy, handed one of the ice creams to Olette a very soft, kind, fun loving girl. The two would always be togther along with their third friend Pence, though he had to move away. His father had a job opportunity somewhere near Destiny Islands, Pence forced to go along with him.

So Hayner and Olette spent their days togther, even though having very different attitudes.

Hayner was a stubborn, some-what rude boy. He acted like he was tough, but Olette knew that he was kind and sweet hearted underneath. He cared for his friends very much, and always stuck up for Olette no matter what.

“Thank you Roxas!” shouted Olette. Everyone else also added in a “Yea!” or a “Thank you Rox!”

“Welcome guys.” he said, as he took a seat next to Namine.

They all stared at the sky, getting a perfect view of the sunset. They all sat upon the edge of the Clock Tower, their feet dangling off the side. It was the highest building in the whole town, and all of them always met up here whenever they could. They talked about anything, everything. What happened that day at school, he said, she said, all of that. Yet, they could never get over how beautiful the sky looked.

“Wow...” whispered Namine.

Roxas turned and looked at her.

She smiled at him. “I know I always say this...but I mean...look at it....”

Roxas turned and looked at the sky once more. She was right. It was wowing, even though it was always like this. It was just one of those things that never stops amazing you, never stops you from making your eyes widen, your jaw slightly drop.

“Yea...it’s nice isn’t it?” said Roxas in response, looking at her once again.

Kind of like you Namine.....

Kairi gave a slight sigh, and leaned her head against Sora’s shoulder.

Sora arms tensed, surprised by her sudden action. He blushed slightly but then calmed himself down and put his arm around her. Kairi sighed and closed her eyes.

She had always liked Sora. More than a friends that is. She just was never sure if he liked her that way too. It was when she gathered up enough courage like times like this, to show how much she really cared for him. She thought that he wouldn’t have done anything just let her keep her head there. She didn’t expect him to put his arm around her.

Roxas blushed and looked the other way from Namine. He had liked her for a long time now.

He wished that he could do something like that. Put his arm around Namine, or hold her hand.

Maybe even kiss her...No! Roxas what are you thinking!? She doesn’t like you like that!

Olette knew that Roxas liked Namine. She tried her hardest whenever she could to get the him to admit her how he felt, but always failed in the end.

Olette was the kind of girl who loved the who “couple” concept. She thought it was so cute that Sora and Kairi did things like this once in a while. She never pictured herself in that situation though.

Hayner just rolled his eyes and looked the other way. He was happy for his friends though, in a way. It was just one of those things that he just didn’t have. He wasn’t sure if he wanted it, but he wasn’t sure that it was something that he would rather go without.

Suddenly, there was a loud ‘Gong!’ from the tower. They all knew that this meant it was 7:00 now. It was time they all made it back home to get ready for the next day.

They all stood up and said their goodbyes to each other. Sora walked with Kairi, for they lived on the same street. He took his arm off of her, and instead held her hand. Kairi was overly joyed by this, and was blushing the whole walk home.

Hayner and Olette were in a hurry, and sprinted off down the street, seeing which one would get to their house the fastest. They laughed at each other, their effort seeming meaningless. It didn’t matter though, they were having fun.

Roxas and Namine were the only ones left. Namine was still sitting, as Roxas just stood there and stared at her.

She’s so beautiful...C’mon Roxas here’s your chance! This is it! Tell her! Just tell her!

“Uh, Namine?”

Namine turned around. “Hm?”

“Uh well....Umm....”

“What is it Roxas?” She asked sweetly as she began to stand up.

“I uh..... I think we better get going.”

Danget! So close! You idiot why didn’t you just tell her?!

“Oh, okay Roxas.” she smiled and walked past him.

He followed, mad at himself that he didn’t tell her.
