I know it's like just over a month and a half late but eh, I've been busy lately, and also did not know what I wanted to add in this. Whenever I thought I was done I felt like I could cram more into it. I wasn't even going to upload this initially and keep it as more of a thing I shared with friends but since this is what I've been working on for the past 3 months I might as well upload it here. Of course since this is personal related stuff it needs explaining

The main thing that happened to me in 2022 was getting my bussing job at a care home, which is represented by the cart and dishes. Also related to work was a parking lot fender bender I had with a coworker which is why there's a banged up car in the mix as well.

The next main theme involves a few friends I either met or was really close with in 2022. They are represented by the country balls. Except one who I chose not to countryballify (aside from myself and the version if myself in another art style I am experimenting with). That friend enjoys drawing art of her and myself so I thought it was fair to make her the only pther human. Also I spent much of the year going to Hot Topic and then showing off my purchases to her so I would say HT is kinda synonymous to us.

The presence of Cascadia Bound is there because I've decided to focus more on that above all other things over the past year and into this year represented by the flag at the back, and the heads of 3 characters. Payje, (my version of) Medea, and a future character.

Sonic and a T Rex? The two movies I really cared about in 2022, Sonic 2 and Jurassic World Dominion. The storage full sign and the Genshin Impact #1 signs? 2022 was finally the year I took Genshin off my phone because it took up way to much stage space, preventing me from updating apps and the phone itself. A snowy cloud at the top left? Represents the unusually large amount of snow in my area. The wedded couple? A cousins wedding. I was going to make both figures look like police officers since my cousin and her husband are both cops. Except they work in different police departments. One is a city cop, the other is a mountie.

The stickers on the side represent a bunch of random stuff I felt like deserved a reference. TF2 representing how much I played TF2, Leavenworth WA and Poulsbo referencing my trip to Washington state (Along with the Space Needle in front of the T Rex). SV represents where I worked, Cascadia Boun references Cascadia Bound, and the black ribbon represents the death of Queen Elizabeth II.

The two heads falling off the back of the cart represent Prime Minister Justin Trudeau and Opposition (Conservative Party) leader Pierre Poilievre. The reason they are drawn falling off the cart represents my intention to not follow the news and politics in 2023 as much as I did in 2022, as I felt like closesly following the news contributed to negative mental health impacts. Though I may likely end up going back on this if a snap election is called in Canada
