I don't mind the long mane, though. Makes her look more Super that way. The only really disappointing thing about Rainbow Power as a whole is that their coat colors don't change. To me, it isn't a Super form if your main color doesn't change. =/

Well, I don't know about you, but to me, leaving a character's main color unchanged in a Super form just seems utterly boring to me. It doesn't scream, "I am a total badass who will kick your ass to the moon and back." It just doesn't seem as awesome.

Since nothing really is original, originality shouldn't matter. It's all about appealing aesthetics and being awesome. Especially when you have a rarely-used color such as being pure white all over, which is, fittingly, the result of all of the colors of the rainbow being fused into one.

It's not that it's been done before that I have an issue with. More... I feel the concept of a super form could benefit from some creativity, rather than just falling back to the very overdone trope of 'hair stands on end. change colour'. It's been done so often it's rather boring, which is really not very helpful to a super form. It wouldn't even take much to just give a super form flair beyond just hair standing up and changing colour. What if the hair moved like it was on fire as it stood up? Or, in Rainbow Dash's specifc case, as white is all colours combined, what if she turned completely white with coloured accents somewhere on her? Or something along those lines.

However I admit, this is all just personal opinion and I know there are people who will disagree with me. To each their own i suppose.

And it was my intention from the start as well. It's just that some people can't draw fire all too well.

I get what you're saying, btw, and I do kind of agree with you as well on trying to be different. But the thing is, I feel that white as a Super form color is rarely used. It's golden yellow that is overdone, rather, and I didn't want to make her that color in the first place.

Besides, even if its good trying to be different, sometimes simplicity sells. And Super Dash has already struck a chord with so many people, long before Hasbro's crappy overcluttered Rainbow Power even existed.

But hey, as you said, its all a matter of opinion. Although I do question the preferences and standards of those who like Rainbow Power, however.

I didn't mean your design. I meant the whole concept of "super mode" designs in general. It's ALWAYS coat change and hair stands on end (or gets longer) With Sonic, as an example, Sonic turns yellow, Knuckles turns like... that weird pinkish colour or whatever and Tails... I dunno. gets birds or something? ... ..ok so maybe Tails is a little more original (if stupid)
But I hope you get what I'm saying. Make the hair be on fire already makes it a hundred times more interesting than just going the DBZ route. (DBZ is cool and all... but since they introduced the whole super sayian thing it's become such a cliche)

And I agree with you completely simplicity is always the best decision. and yeah!! The Rainbow Power mode is SOOOO cluttered! holy shit!! XDD and as I said. That troll Doll hair. Just... whyyyyyy?
But that's what you get when the marketing department gets too much say in what the show should look like I suppose.
I mean... I JUST ran across this, and how much better would something like this have been instead??
