In which I may have tipped my hand with this page.
Sorry it’s late guys.
I know it’s not update day but this was almost finished so I just the last parts of it and decided to upload it now.
As usual, the panels look very very busy to me.
There HAS to be a better way to do these trees....

Wait... Wait a moment. I have a feeling that this is more Flowey-like behavior than somebody's else. The phrasing and the last expression really feel like Flowey.
Again with that contrast. It's so cool to see both scenes unfold simultaneously that way. Very clever and neatly done.

Or maybe it's like that episode of Jackie Chan Adventures where he gets the broken Tiger Talisman and The Human split into two parts of light and dark. One half is doing whatever he feels like doing without a real conscience to hold him back, and the other is being excessively nice because he has no dark side.

I love how sans and... Chara? Creepy kid's interactions have dialogues while Papyrus side doesn't. It's like... in the movies, where sans' side is the focus where things happen but he keeps thinking about Papyrus, and the camera flashes towards them briefly. Nice work!

Oh yeah. Its been a while.
Mostly Gaster Blasters and other combat effects, however. So basically, a whole lot of the color blue. Plus a creepy flower in a dream sequence that is obviously in a different, more evocative art style from the rest of Time Scar.

I like how Sans is confused by their response but rightfully doesn't ease up and keeps starin' the kid down.
And that poor monster keeps falling and falling and falling into dust. Poor thing.
Meanwhile, Papyrus is having a great time! With the lights on the house lit too, I don't remmeber noticing that before, aww.
Definately leaves a strange impression; seeing those two so diffrent scenarios at the same time.

In all honesty I really like the trees, but I can see what you mean by busy. It probably wouldn't be too bad if the whole comic was in colour (since black and white can easily get messy) but that takes even more time and the little dashes of colour in this comic are either meaningful or little scene details like the lights. Maybe you could attempt to layer the tree leaves evenly rather than criss crossing and seemingly random? They look more natural the way you're drawing 'em, but layering might make it less solid. Maybe, I have no idea. Best of luck with them regardless!

I wish I could offer advice for the trees, that does seem like a bit of a conundrum. Maybe browse through how other artist's handle their trees? See if you find a style you like and "branch" out on it...sorry had to. Either way I do adore this page and I adore your work equally so! Thank you for uploading more!

Perhaps just draw out the basic shape, fill it in black, then make the lines white? That's how I would do it, but then again, it might not appeal as much to you, so.... idk, just do what you like

That's kinda what I'm thinking, yeah X'D I'm just not sure how to do it. I'd have to go through my brushes or read some tutorials or something.

Well, I don't know what program are you using to draw, but it's easy to find many different brushes online for SAI and I heard it's not that hard for Photoshop as well
And yeah, tutorials might definitely come in handy xD I'm 100% sure Youtube is full of them!

I think the panels look great! (I'm always skimping on scenery, myself - I'm struggling to get better with it.) It doesn't seem busy to me. I think you've done a great job creating depth in the landscape with the level of details on the trees and using them to create visual balance in the frames. Most importantly, they don't distract the eye from the characters. In fact, I think you rather skillfully lead the eye to the important stuff and frame the characters with the trees. They even help emphasize the story - for example, in the frame where Sans plants his feet and tells the kid not to give him a reason, the three trees behind him seem like a wall backing him up.
"Aw shucks" and a winky face - Flowey, is that you????? I really want a closer look at murder-kid's soul (if they even have one). This story keeps getting more interesting!
