I've finished the volume 19 recently (retrace LXXVIII). I want to read PH until the end, but I want to buy the manga, not reading the scans... I think it's more... comfortable to read like this. °^°  Maybe I can have the last volumes for my birthday (October) !

Ghhh, so much feels. I even hesitated to finish the story. But I'm in it now... x3x

Fair enough! I'm too broke to own all the volumes yet but one day!!! I've got the newest PH artbook though and by the Gods, it is the most beautiful PH thing alive. *A*

I will probably re-read the whole thing once I collect the rest myself but I really couldn't wait to read until the end so I had to use the scans. Much tears everywhere

Who would have thought it would have been this dark of a story, eh?

I... definitely wasn't expecting this. At first it was... rather light. When I was reading the chapter wherein the little Philip loses his father, I thought "Well, it seems like it's much darker than it looked. But all shônen mangas are a bit dark after all..."

Now I have the feeling that Jun Mochizuki is trying to drown her readers in their own tears. 0___0

How did you find the series? Did you like how it ended??
I'm glad you noticed and liked the variety. It's just pencil-lined on the wings so it's more grey

I like bittersweet endings so I enjoyed it... It was heartbreaking though, since I thought at least two of my favorite characters would make it through and then they died really close to the end. I picked out 8 or 9 favorite characters and none of them made it... I was definitely bummed!
But I really enjoyed finally getting to read the last couple of books too. >w<

I know how you feel when it comes to just getting fed up when you get to the colour part. I usually end up leaving the piece for ages and then slowly chipping away at it. With this one, I kind of was driven by the idea of completing it and seeing the end result.
But now I'm demotivated again, hahah. Woes of someone who draws, you get me?

I totally agree. Ada really did help Vincent a lot (whether he knew it or not) up until the final retrace. So in that respect she was like his angel.
After that it's almost like vice versa (Vincent returning the favour without her knowing maybe?)
I'll be joining you in the daydreams of Ada waiting for Vincent in the afterlife haha. They were cute together. Their relationship really grew a lot from their first appearance together.

I believe that at some point Vincent realized how much Ada helped him, and I believe that's when he realized he really loved her, or at least that's what I like to think... >_>
When he explained why he asked Gilbert to lie to her I really started crying, because he seemed so sad to be away from her... And the fact that we couldn't see his face really hurts me, because I'm almost sure that he was crying, or trying not to cry.
YaY~ I won't be alone while daydreaming~ ^^ Maybe if we all daydream/wish of them to be together after they died, they might really meat and live happily! ^^
What I liked in their relationship is that they weren't all lovely and happy from the beginning, since Vincent started going out with her to use her if I remember correctly, but then it escalated to something more than that.

Once again, no need to thank me. ^^ Sorry for the looong reply (it could be called a small essay if you want xD)

I'm going to say he loved her, because why not?
I think we don't really have to daydream because that's where Pandora Hearts ends, and I guess whatever happens can be in our heads even if it isn't canon. Makes for good fan pieces out there whether it be literature or art!
Yeah he originally only dated her to try manipulate Oscar Vessalius, however that changed. And then everyone died

Long replies/comments are the best! Way different from the short and sweet (it's a nice refreshing change of pace).

Those endings can be 50/50 can't they
Like if you're left with something that could be potentially could you would want to see it as canon, but then leaving it to the viewer's imagination is good as well.
I'm from the tiny little country New Zealand (I'm not sure if you know where that is )
Winter sucks unless it snows. It just rains and gets windy here. We pretty much had a mini-flood the other night.

I like this kind of endings to be honest. It leaves some kind of a mystery, and you can imagine what could've happened. This way our dreams are not completely crushed either! XD
Oh, I know where New Zealand is, last year I had a teacher from there and first thing he did was to show us where New Zealand is. ^^

Ohhh a Kiwi teacher! Yup we are good. We are known for ever changing weather in the winter. We had like snow, rain, sun and wind on one day once. It was literally like "make up your mind"!
