"Diego! Come here!" Juliet called, a gentle smile on her features as the girl floated near the ceiling, umbrella held close to her chest as she lured Diego in. The two had been having a competition. See who could "kill" the other the most.
It was one of the only ways to goof around without having Sir Hargreeves yell at them about it not being Saturday and between noon and half-past it. Although he didn't have entire control over Juliet, he did have it over Diego.
She kept herself silent as the teen boy made his way towards where he heard her voice, his eyes narrowed in suspicion. His hand slipped into one of his pockets, pulling out a shiny knife she assumed to be a butter knife. "Juliet?!" He called in response, glancing into the living room to see if she was down there. The girl slowly floated down, poking his back with the umbrella, causing him to jump some and throw the butter knife right above her head and into the wall behind her.
"Hey! You can't do that!" She whined out, Diego winking at her. "You never specified that in my 'final breaths' I couldn't take you down with me." He mused, clearing his throat before mocking his father. "You must learn to adapt, Number Zero." He let out, causing Juliet to giggle some. As she floated over to retrieve the knife that was currently lodged between two paintings in the wall.
After tugging it out, she handed him the knife. "I didn't think a butter knife would be sharp enough to get stuck inside a wall." She teased, floating upwards once more as she poked at his arm with the umbrella. "Next time, once my umbrella pokes you, you're dead on the spot." She specified, causing the knife-thrower to roll his eyes. "Okay, whatever… but, you can't sneak attack from the ceiling then." He countered. The girl pushed her bottom lip out as she looked down at him, nudging his arm with her umbrella once again. "Fine. You can pettily kill me as you 'die', but that doesn't change the fact you're unfair."
"That's what I thought." He smugly spoke, clearly unfazed by her accusation of his unfairness causing Juliet to give a playful huff.
"Halyn's right- you are a dickwad."
"I'm right- you are a dork."
