I absolutely loved The Hobbit, both book and movie, and when I came across this cosplay, my jaw just dropped. The crown and cosplay are INCREDIBLY realistic, and had I not known better could easily be taken as the real deal. The dramatic pose and unique camera angle complement the shady, dangerous character of the Elvenking. And the beautiful backdrop? Absolutely capturing a viewer's mind. It looks incredibly like the trees seen in the movie in Mirkwood, and the yellowish-red leaves reflect the colors in Thranduil's crown, the sickness of the forest, and his guarded mind. Overall, a completely amazing representation of Thranduil, created by an equally awesome mortal.

The Costume is well done, you have used the right fabric, I'm sure it's really hard to find something like that. The Wig looks great and the Make-up is done perfectly. I love the crown, it has so much details and it also sustains a closer look.
The Photograph has way too much head-space and the perspective is too skewed.
A little bit editing, like removing a few outstanding hairs, would give it the last touch of perfection. But next time please take another picture, a Costume made with this much skill and work deserves better.

Saw you at London MCM last weekend! You looked amazing! Didn't have the chance to tell you so, as you were quite surrounded by people taking your picture when I saw you (and probably throughout the day in general, I'll bet ;]), and Saturday was incredibly crowded!

Man könnte es fast denken, aber weil du es bist, eher unwahrscheinlich.

Übrigens, mein Fell riecht wieder unangenehm nach Blumen. Ich sollte dir einen meiner ausrangierten Mäntel geben, dann kannst du dich da immer reinkuscheln... uû

ich muss zugeben das der herr elb auf dem bild gut aussieht, verdammt gut ^^
es ist ein sehr schönes cospaly und steht dir ausgezeichnet.
aber zum herum tragen ist der kratzestoff auf dauer nicht geeignet (du kratzbürste du XP)
die krone ist einfach nur ein echter hingucker und verdammt schön gemacht *-*
