---

Ed Glaser, creator of the hilarious Press Start universe, posted images of various critters from the "Jackamo!" card game during the run up to the movie's release - "Jackamo!" being an obvious parody of a certain popular franchise I hardly need mention.

Being a massive nerd of said franchise, I couldn't help drawing them.

Pffft, only stupid little kids play Jackamo.

This? This is awesome as hell. I am partcularly enamoured with the cat-bat creature (yes, I know it's a parody of a moogle). It's so cute!

Hee hee... The first one looks so happy to have a glowing deedlybopper on its head. The second one is clearly on a MISSION TO BITE SOMETHING. Presumably an acorn or something, seeing as it's a squirrel. And the third one... oh man. The drill nose. It's like Grounder got fused with an owl of some kind via the power of science. That's right--the italicized kind.

I like these.

Sweet! I love your art style on the Jackamo creatures. It's cool to see that Ed likes this too.

I have a Mug-Wug in my party to help steadily increase experience.

I must say your take on the original drawings are quite astonishing. Looking forward to the Monday when Crux-Shank, Pink Pufflers, and Gravity Clouds are finally made into official cards.

Yeah, the squirrel is great, but I think the flying Meowth moogle is my favorite.

The squirrel is cool. The drill-nosed thing is my favourite though.

Does that first one look like a Moogle on purpose? It's like he's parodying 2 franchise for the price of one

It could well do. Sometimes he parodies multiple franchises at once. XD

Brilliant work Gemma! Makes me wonder if Ed Glaser will start making them into actual cards that everyone will play as an actual card game. If that's so, I'd love for your art to be on board!

The squirrel and the kitty-bat ones are probably my favourite!

Actually I almost felt tempted to ask whether I could do animation if they showed Jackamo as a cartoon again like they did in the first Press Start movie. XD

I have really got to get me a copy of that movie...

Ive only watched every episode of the flash series about four times each... Never got into the live action much, but hey PS would be a worthy exception.
