Canada is still here! I know it kind of disappears from maps and newcasts and things when you cross the border (we have family in Pittsburg). I believe you are from S. Ontario. The temp. got up to almost 30C yesterday - it was great.
Pre-season hockey just started last week. Paul Maurice talked to the media and said the Leafs would be contenders this year... however they just barely beat Phoenix last night 3-2, so we'll have to wait and pray... just like every other year for the last 30! On the bright side, their new guy, Jason Blake, got a goal. He's on Sundin's line for now.
Hope things are going well for you. Remember, if you get homesick, just sing the 'Hockey Night in Canada' theme to yourself - it works like a charm!! Take care, Tom!.... eh...
