Ooh, this is such a powerful piece! I feel as if you've captured so much of the person's feelings and thoughts.. but mostly it's the emotion that exudes from this piece that makes it so profound.
I like how the black and white contrast makes things even more stark and contrasted, in a way. I'm not particularly fond of how the top and bottom seem to be darker, as it creates an imbalance of sorts.. I also feel the framing is a bit too tight, but the detail we can see is great and the perspective isn't bad, either.
Lovely stuff, all in all.
