It really is sad when you think about it, all Cass wanted was to be recognised and be her own person but each time (even if it was unintentional) Rapunzel has always prevented that from happening. All she wanted was her mother's love but Gothel didn't hesitate to abandon her for Rapunzel and left Cass to fend for herself. She wanted to be in the kingsguard (that's what it's called isn't it?) just like her adoptive father but that dream was crushed and she got lumped as Rapunzel's bodyguard instead. And it was pointed out in a YouTube comment that while she did become Rapunzel's friend, she's always been a bodyguard first and friend second, and compared to the other people in Rapunzel's life, Cass is always the third-wheel. And now she's finally snapped and has decided to take her recognition by force.

"No freaking way, Cassandra has been through too much friendship for her to betray Rapunzel and Eugene!" I always say this and plus after seeing that part I had to take like a few months off of watching this series. I'm keeping my theory that the Cassandra who turned against the two is the fake Cassandra, an impostor. The real Cassandra is still left behind.
