So far as a first look goes, very early in the CG, I thought it killed it. There's concept art of more psychedelic stuff out there, and I imagine we'll see more of that closer to release, but it would not have surprised me if we only saw his accident, his trip to Tibet, and his final costume.

I thought Tibet was going to be replaced with another location, since Tibet is controversial geo-political topic with China.

I have no idea if it's actually Tibet. The director just released a statement saying that the Ancient One is white because of the controversy surrounding that area, and it felt wrong having the character played by an asian actress and being seen to take sides on the argument, which makes me think it probably is being replaced.
