Now begin the listings of Bronycon exclusive pieces! I love Daring Do (I usually cosplay as her at pony conventions) so I wanted to do something fun that had storytelling elements to it.This is a big one, she measures 6 1/2 tall at the hat, the body is about 5 1/2 inches from hoof to tail, and the base is 5 inches long. The treasure piece is 2 inches tall and is a separate piece, so you can have some fun by putting different things on the stand for a make your own adventure type deal. That little statue was the devil to make and paint, so I don't think I'll be doing that again anytime soon. Other than that, I'm really happy with the way this piece turned out.
Made of super Sculpey and Sculpey firm over a wire and foil armature, painted with acrylics, and sealed with matte spray. This piece will be available at my Bronycon table somewhere in the $100 range.

I absolutely LOVE the look of this, and was INTENDING to buy it at last year's BronyCon...but it got sold before I could even get a good look.
Would you happen to be making one of these for this year's BronyCon? I'm just asking so I can know what to look out for when August rolls around, xD

There is a possible Daring Do, but not one like this. Each piece is one of a kind and I don't often do repeats (unless its a commission).

Is Sculpey Firm better than Super Sculpy or vice versa, or should I just buy both?

Sculpey firm and super sculpey each have different positives and negatives, I would definitely recommend the super to start with and then add the firm when you feel more comfortable.

That would be awesome! On a related topic, kinder surprise eggs are illegal in the US because the chocolate completely encloses the toy and apparently American children are too dumb to not eat the entire thing and choke to death. I always smuggle some back with me when I travel.
