I made Scootaloo once before, but this time I wanted to make it a more dynamic pose. Why no helmet? Let me tell you a little story about helmets:About three years ago, my friends and I went skiing in the Poconos. Having been to the mountain once before, I was the de facto expert. When going through the rental line, my friend asked if he should get a helmet, to which I replied, "No, helmets are for losers." On our last run of the day, he took a bad fall and wasn't feeling well afterward. We went to Cracker Barrel, where he didn't eat his food because he complained about not being hungry. We berated him for wasting delicious country cooking and ate his dinner while he went outside to get some air. Later, we found out he had a mild concussion. In conclusion, I am a great friend.
Scootaloo stands at a little over 4 inches tall, which is a bit larger than I normally make my sculptures. She's made of super sculpey polymer clay, painted with acrylics, and sealed with a matte acrylic spray.
