Always! Unless they happen to be a narcissist; then they expect trumpets and fanfare for what is essentially inferior crap.
Thank goodness there are very few folk like that here at DA.

I think I would hate myself if I stooped that low. I try never to put inferior crap anywhere except the toilet where it belongs. Yet, I do not expect anyone to appreciate what I appreciate, and I really want to find my own style and not imitate others. However, I must be able to create what others have in order for me to better create my own.

That's a really good philosophy. Sometimes we do learn by imitating, although when possible, i like to learn and discover unique techniques on my own. When learning from others, I always give credit where credit is due.
