Description One of two infra red shots taken at Lundbreck Falls on Saturday, I could not decide which version I liked better so I thought that I would post them both. Lundbreck Falls is a wonderful little rest stop at the south end of highway 22 just outside of the Crowsnest Pass and there is a little camp site a few minutes walk from where this was taken.

Wow, IR really changes the way an image looks, and the mood of the image. Are the darker areas are where IR rays are being reflected, and the light areas are where the scenery absorbs the IR?

Actually it is the opposite, the dark areas are where the NIR (Near IR) light is being absorbed and the white are where it is being reflected. Leaves are highly reflective, clouds are reflective and water absorbs.
