So I doodled this today as a "speedpaint" i.e. I really didn't spend too much time on it. Some things are off, but I don't really care because I finally made a youtube process video 8D I hopefully will keep this a trend

Aww no problem. I seen this as a speedpaint a while ago and I was like.... I gotta ask if I can use those awesome horns! I love the colors to they go perfect with each other. Ugh...I'm so jealous XD

Oh I saw this on youtube! I love it so much and it was so helpful, Ive been looking everywhere for a video that shows how to draw dragons slightly similar to my own style, and I just loved seeing your speed paint ^^Ā

Quick question though if I may ask, when editing the gradients in photoshop, how do you know which gradient goes best with the drawing?Ā

Most of the time, using the default purple/orange gradient map can make most any piece look better when overlaid. Though when going for a different feel, it usually takes a ton of trial and error when finding the perfect balance. I play around with many different color combinations before I actually settle on something. When in doubt, experiment!

Im always just a bit anxious of trying new things, I never want to mess up my work, but I guess it takes a few mess ups to find out what works the best.

Ooooh, those horns are amazing. Really nice design there. Personally, I would give him some different-coloured pupil, but otherwise really nice job. The colours and design all look really good
