Description
This here, started life as an odd idea of something I wanted to make in MineCraft, but mulling it over in my head, I rather wanted to use it as scaling practice.
Its not all there, so to say as I more or less, deliberately, sketched this quite loosely and more to establish the overall design, than the proportions and such, but I still think it works.
I've worked out that with the top hatch, being just a bit shy of a meter and a half in diameter; we get this airship to be about thirty meters tall (those are some huge-ass windows) and in the real world, it would probably be too stocky and heavy to fly. Its fine for what it is though, a fun bit of experimentation.

If this were to be anywhere near seriously constructed, I'd have elongated the main "Balloon" section, I'd make the bridge-section, smaller, have more, propellers and fins and I'd make the gondola a heck of a lot, smaller.

This was drawn entirely in Open Canvas and later vectorized and for a while there, I wanted to make it steam-punkish, but as I lost the file once and had to re-start, nearly from scratch, with just one layer, auto-saved by the copy, command, macro of my mouse.. I just couldn't bring myself to sink a whole lot more time into it.
Overall, I'm proud of it and hey; now you know, I can paint windows, if you ever doubted me, so, there...
