Brilliant! Sinister is a horror classic and Ashley (Claire Foley) was (is) terrific. Good of you to link her with my ever-beloved Alma and place her in the arms of Baghul. Baghul is the ancient Canaanite deity Ba'al Moloch, devourer of children (the 'gh' in Baghul is equivalent to Hebrew-Canaanite 'ayin (Χ’). Go to Gustave Flaubert's 'SalammbΓ΄ to find out more about him (it) and read a horrifying account of child sacrifice. Alma was sacrificed to the Ba'al of Science. I'm not sure Alma could ever be contained by any terrestrial deity...
