CLAUDE CAHUN, QUE ME VEUX-TU?, 1928, BLACK-AND-WHITE PHOTOGRAPH.

In this first work we can see two people, in truth it is not very clear if they are men or women. In it it seems that one of the people is whispering something to the other. Being a black and white photograph, a very strong contrast is generated between the shadows and pale colors of the skin of the subjects within the photo. The defined shape of the people makes them stand out more from the background, since, as I mentioned before, their skin is so white that it stands out a lot. In terms of composition, both characters are centered in the image, with the “normal” character on the left side of the photo and the character with dark eyes on the right side. This differentiation between the characters causes the photo to be divided into two, the “normal” side and the one with black eyes.
