Your drawing skill is great! I love the third eyes you put on some of your creatures. In this I really like the tree branches, the hole and the shlef like things on the branches, I think they might be a type of lichen. Very dreamlike. I love it!

As always Caitlin, your work is breathtaking to look at. I feel though that this belongs on the cover of a children's story book, something about this is so warm an inviting that there is probably a story behind it.

thanks! : ) alot of my work has a loose narrative behind it, although I like to leave it open to those who view it to interpret, it's almost as though each piece becomes a collaborative fairy tale, the story that I worked into a piece can grow and morph in the eyes of each new person who sees it.

So vivid, it reminds me of a children's story I used to really like about an owl and his mother.
