Not blaming you for the grammar btw, even my local newspaper that had a positive story about a Trans person had incorrect grammar, I've kinda grown to expect it at this point.
The grammar I mean is "Transgenders"Β which should be "Transgender People" or "Transgender Individuals", despite that this is still very touching.

Although they should be accepted, they do need help, because wanting to be something different to the point of surgery and/or pills is called Body Distortion Disorder

I'm going to have to correct you there because Body Dysphoria is not the same as Body Dysmorphia Disorder(what you were more likely trying to reference)
Body Dysmorphia Disorder, or Body Distortion Disorder as you called it, is an anxiety related disorder where sufferers spend a lot of time worrying about how they look, and often have a distorted view of how they look.Β For example, someone who sees themselves as being fat, no matter how thin and malnourished they become.Β Simplified, they say they are fat when they are skin and bones.
Transgender people do not have a distorted view of how they look, Body Dysphoria, which is what many, but not all, Transgender people suffer from is related to the mismatch between tangible physical traits of the body and a person's gender identity.Β Simplified, the existence of a penis, or non-existence of breasts on a trans woman causes distress, depression, and other negative mental effects.
