Omg I am so proud of this one!

My alicorn needed some more art <3 So have him in a midnight flight!

Also, I redesigned his armour a lil xD Mainly his boots x3 I like these more. Much easier to draw! And this is a younger Orion xD So no beard and this is how he kept his mane and tail, only some strands got loose in his anger x3

STORY TIME!

Years had passed since Orion first discovered his talent, creating constellations, and the night sky that was once bleak and dark, was now beginning to light up as more and more white dots began to sparkle every night.

But everything wasnt nice and calm, ever since the attack from the bear on those poor little ponies. Orion had started to notice a change in his fellow alicorns.

Whenever he spoke about the little ponies that lived in the land of Equestria, they would turn their heads and just ignore him.

Why where they acting so nonchalant about the little ponies? Their subjects? The onces they were supposed to protect from harm?

He couldnt understand it, and it was starting to get to him. Until one day, he couldnt stand it no more.

Orion returned after a flight over the land, only to find a large group of alicorns standing on the look-out cliff. The young alicolt landed a few feet away from them, using his magic to remove his helmet.

He walked towards them casually and soon heard what they spoke of.

"It was the biggest darn dragon I've seen." a pale coated alicolt said, flapping his wings as he spoke. "And it just gulped those ponies down in one bite!"

"Wait, what?!" Orion stepped into the circle around the other stallion, staring him straight in the eyes. "A pony-eating dragon? Here?!"

"You have sharp ears, Orion. Yes a pony-eating dragon. I saw it gulp down on those ponies with my own eyes! ..Now as I was saying--"

"AND YOU DID NOTHING?!"

The group silenced and turned their eyes towards the darkpelted alicolt, shocked by his sudden outburst.

"You saw a dragon EAT our own kin and you just WATCHED?!" Orion shouted, nostrils flared and wings reaching for the skies.

"Tch, dont get your tail in a bind now, Orion. What was I supposed to have done?" the other stallion responded, nonchalantly brushing off Orion's words.

"Saved them of course! That is what we are supposed to do! They are our subjects! How can they love us when we do nothing in return?!"

A snicker came from the other stallion, followed by the other alicorns joining in on it. "Oh Orion, you are so naive and gullable. Cant you see? That is the beauty with those ponies. They love us no matter what."

At that very moment, something snapped inside Orion. His last shreds of sympathy and respect for his fellow alicorns, gone in the blink of an eye.

A deep snort came from the alicolt, followed by a loud, metallic slam against rock as Orion reared onto his hindlegs, throwing his head back, then plunged forward again, throwing his helmet straight into the ground before the pale alicolt.

"I'VE HAD ENOUGH!!" He shouted in fury as his hooves made contact with the ground again. "With all of you! How can you be so cruel? SO HEARTLESS?! None of you deserve to be praised! You havent done ANYTHING to deserve it! You just sit here on your lazy flanks, socializing, feasting and napping. Well I am sick of it! I will never lower myself to become like the lot of you! FAREWELL!!"

With those final words of anger, Orion turned on a nickle and began to gallope towards the launching cliff again, not hearing anyone trying to stop him. Frankly, he wouldnt stop anyway, and soon, he kicked off and quickly gained alltitude.

Only a few minutes later, thanks to strong tailwinds, he was already miles away from the home of the alicorns, leaving his home, his friends and life behind him.

As Orion continued his lonely flight, the stars and moon where his only company. The wind was strong under his wings, and the fluffiness of the clouds played around his legs as he passed them. It soothed his anger.

It was on this night, that the alicorn who made the stars, was never seen again. In his absence, a new constellation was formed on the night sky, in the form of a rearing stallion. Many believe it is Orion, as he abandoned his alicorn kin and joined the stars. While others say that he is still out there, roaming the skies, for every night, more stars and new constellations began to appear.

Maybe one day, their creator, would return.
