My second commission!! Also, my second Dorm Cake: some lovely ladies lent me their kitchen for the baking, and after some serious scrubbing and disinfecting, the decorating was done in my room.It was also my first spherical cake, and as always, a Learning Moment...fortunately, the fondant figures came out pretty well and those were the important feature!
Chocolate cake, with chocolate buttercream filling.

Both figurines are made from Wilton's fondant (also known as sugarpaste depending on where you are.)

Holy...I can't...childhood. I have loved this show since I was a small child. Still my favorite cartoon of all time. So cool to see that they finally DID take over the world...in a way. Narf!
