Description When I snail-mailed her birthday box of baked goods, I included some salted caramel macarons. I looked into buying macaron boxes, but they were stupidly expensive, had to be bought in bulk and weren't especially pretty. It took me all of 3 seconds to decide to make my own. The advantages were numerous: I could make it to fit the width of my macarons. I could make it to fit the length of the box I was posting them inside. I could choose pretty colours. I could make a peepy window. Sold.

It also probably took me about 15 minutes to whip up so it was a win all round.

It's saddening to hear that those boxes are ridiculously expensive, but you made a great, charming box on your own in 15 minutes, saving you tons of money and allowing you your own creative freedom. Thats an epic win.
