Thanks, man! I work with Illustrator all the time as a graphic designer so it's second nature to me now. The hardest part is getting used to the Bezier Curves. Once you have a handle on that it's a lot of fun to use. Especially in conjunction with Photoshop or with plug-ins like Scriptographer.
You do some great work yourself. I really like your UI stuff. Illustrator should be right up your alley. Give it a go! It makes you think a bit differently, which can open up new artistic directions.

Yeah, I think I go into Illustrator, thinking it's going to be like Photoshop, but I need to get a handle on what it does and the interface of it. As far as I know, It's good for publishing line work, that's all haha

Have you ever checked out Manga Studio? I haven't tried it yet myself but it seems like a perfect blend of both worlds, vector and raster. Looks absolutely amazing for comic art.
