Description
Another character from my graphic novel 'Vessel'Peter is a young shepherd on the Colony. When we meet Peter in the book things are not going well for him. Charged with looking after the villages flock for the first time he finds himself attacked by a monster from the Depths. Rex and Peter must seek shelter from the beast and abandon their flock.

What kind of creature is Rex? He's pretty damn cool, like some kind of hybrid between a bear, and wolf and an antelope...

He functions as a sheepdog in the story. My idea was that the colonists have brought together DNA from bears, wolves and ibex to create him.
I tried to get his look about half way between a maned wolf and a sun bear for my design.
