Really neat. Reminds me of the kraken battle in Shining Force II

Thanks~
I had a lot of fun with monsters.
I'll be posting more now that I'm less busy with the game done.

I love the octopus but sadly it jars with the titles. The water is transparent and thus shows it's only a tile deep, this implies that either the octopus is made of the water or is completely invisible under it? should it not have a shadow or the water be murky enough to obscure the underwater portion of it?

:3

I am considering about the underwater portion when I get some time. It can be tackled from either angle really, make the water seem more murky/deep, or draw more suggestion of the rest of the body underwater. Thinking of it, I am having some fun ideas....Β  Thanks Nihility~

Ha ha ha! Ohhh gotta love that old Mac and Blue chipset. We still use those allot these days on RM2003. I think I remember this battle scene too! You used the FF5 Octopus in the original version but this one is superior even to the Pictologia one Square Enix made.

Yeah, I think BadLuck did a great job on making the battle scenes.

Thanks, I don't know Pictologia, but its cool to think I could outdo Square Enix on something lol
I like mine a lot more than what he was using before. XD

As cool as it looks ... It does not make much sense.
The water is clear so you SHOULD be able to see the entire creature

Thanks for the comment.
I may try drawing more of the underwater part when I do a final sweep of touch-ups
