Finally finished my Applejack picture. I hope it looks okay, I don't draw her very much so... yeah. Enjoy!

Maybe five to six hours. I know it doesn't sound as if it would take me that long but it takes me a long while doing everything by my touch pad on my laptop, and than having to use the control z button over and over again. And then doing other tedious things that would take me a while to explain also took me about an hour or so to do.

I am down to about 3 hours per piece, but the first stuff I did took me 6 hours as well, but with at least a small tablet,
so don't think you're slow or something!

Well to be completely honest here, I use the touch pad on everything, but when it comes to the outline I have to use the path tool because I can't draw perfectly straight lines using the dumb touch pad or mouse. I would call it a vector but since it's still pixelated I can't correctly call it that. Everything else though is 100% touch pad. I hope that doesn't degrade my pictures that I have to use the path tool for my outlines, but like I said I can't use the mouse or touch pad for perfectly straight lines.

Nah, nobody whould expect anybody to draw freehand outlines with a mouse, lol.
But let me give you an advice:
Once you got that tablet, stop using line tools immediately!
You will suck at freehand first, I can promise you that.
But you gotta practice, it happens SO fast that you fall for that line tool, haha!

Thank you for the advice, I will be sure to remember that! I can be patient and learn to master drawing freehand with a tablet with long hours of patience and dedication. I never planned on being stuck using the line tool forever anyway, that's one of the reasons why I wanted a tablet in the first place.
