Description Remember me telling you that I am getting a new tablet (wacom bamboo fun pen &touch medium) ?
Well,it finally arrived it also had Photoshap Elements 10 (and Art Rage &Correl Painter) as an extra

So here is my first ever Photoshop-drawing took me some time to get used to it but actually it is a lot like gimp. But I couldn't find any tutorial on devi on how to ose PSE.Like tools,layers,... Do you kno a good one?

The character you can see obviously is a snow leopard. This is a still developing design of ,my fursona (she has no name yet....). Snow leopards are my favourites ,so why don't design one to represent me?

I'd really like to hear some critique on this

Time: 2 hours ( ain't used to PSE yet)

She is very pretty! You are very good with a tablet for having just started out with it. I got mine over a year ago and still can't draw a straight line or make a line without it being way shaky. I am just starting out on snow leopards, still trying to learn anatomy, their heads are tough.

Thank you so very much ^-^

I started drawing with a tablet at the same time i started didgital drawing ,this is already my 12th drawing.... it's only the first time using my new tablet an photoshop

but thank you for your nice words anyway

At first my drawings really looked like crap and i stopped drawing didgital but that was a mistake. You just have to practice a lot (and i mean a lot) and you'll improve.I don't think there's another way than practicing.

What part of your drawings do you think you need to improve the most? Anatomy?Shading?Outlining?Coloring?Backgrounds? I really ain't a master but maybe I can help you or link you to a good tutuorial

Yeah, a lot of my favorite digital artists say it just takes lots of practice, just like any aspect of art. I tend to waver between digital and traditional art, I love them both. My hand is just shaky and wobbly, always has been.
Hmm...I want to improve everything in my art, of course, but I'd have to say I am especially stuck on backgrounds. But i also want to learn to shade better, a good shading adds so much to the picture and I enjoy it. This one is probably my best shading work so far: [link] Thank you for offering your help! I appreciate it.

I really like your drawigs so far especially the traditional ones.

I myself ain't really good at backgrounds yet but i gets better slowly
these are my newest works with full background [link] [link]
I personally first fill my background with my main color.Than I use the airbrush tool to the background.I think it's easier than drawing with the normal brush on a white canvas.

Here are some hopefully useful tutorials on shading and certain aspects of backgrounds

I think those are some good tutorials that helped me a lot.Maybe you can learn something from them as well.

Oh I love tutorials, I collect them and use them a lot. But you sometimes have to sift through a lot of lower quality ones in order to find the helpful ones.
