"Brave" cosplay, MeridaPhotos by Suzanne Lawrence
Costume by Caden Kluge
The dress was made of a sturdy blue satin-poly mix on the wrong side so it was less shiny along with a yellow gold lining fabric for the ruffles and elbow puffs. Basic Brother sewing machine and tools. The cloak was made of a velvet-like polyester with stretch and a nap and a drawstring hood with a lining.
Hair was accomplished by tinting with cherry koolaide and foam styling rods with hairspray and gel, left in for several hours.
My film group, Reely?Videos, also shot a parody of Brave's "The Prize" trailer which will be available June the 20th.

Thank you! It's my real hair and mostly my real color. I am red head, but it's not usually so bright. I used the koolaide dye to brighten it up for this shoot. It's mostly all washed out now, though with a few pink streaks where it stuck to my blond highlights.

Yeah wigs suck. However if you bought some plain wigs and styles them up as great as this you could make a good profit
