.... What a crappy effort. Blah. Oh well. For a profile picture, I guess it will do. X_xAnyways, this is Aether-sama, aka God of Soul, Sadistic Bastard, and our loveable antagonist of Divinitas [link] .
... I don't know why he's wearing that ring around his neck. That's Ashura's ring. >_> Just... don't ask, people who actually read my crappy story.
Hmm, I think he has too much hair. Or his head is too big for his body. >_> Which I suppose kind of reflects his personality... One would think he has an inflated ego with the way he goes on about OWNING people. *Coughs*
Picture was inked with speedball dip pen and waterproof black ink, coloured with watercolour paints, with edit & text in photoshop. This is the first of 10 profile pictures of the main characters from Divinitas [link] .

Aether-sama is so hot....... right now I am in the process of reading Divinitas.......... I reas the first 13 parts in less than an hour..... I could not stop reading it! Phoenix is very lucky to be owned by Aether....... hell anyone would be lucky...... with Aether being sadistic and all........ thats a major bonus!

for a "crappy effort" this still turned out fairly well... I think its the way his hair is shaped ... I dunno *cocks head to the side* I can see what you mean that there's something just slightly off about it...
The coloring turned out well, very soft which gives it a nice feel... still like this one... ooo tickly feather ^_^;

The colouring is brilliant and I love it, I see no fault. I admire your ability to work with a variety of mediums. I've said this countless times but you do brilliant hair and hands and most of all clothes. I'm so lazy when it comes to clothes. I hate folds and..stuff. ANywho. I really like the quotes in this piece as well and how you were able to incorporate them into it.
BTW. The anti-cross thing works well also. Love it.

Anti-cross... The inverted cross... is Aether's little way of saying how pissy at Ten/Heaven he is for making him sell half his soul to them. Okay, so maybe they didn't *make* him sell half his soul, but yeah, well, he... errr... Pheonix was an irrestiable bribe? ^_^;;; And you know... I suck at clothing. o_O I can't design something half decent if my life depended on it. Have you even seen what I came up with for the Elemental Children's / God's outfit? I don't even want to think about them. >___>

Don't know much about the series or the characters you're talking about, but the drawings looks nice. Yeah, the head may be a bit out of proportion with the body, or vice versa, but otherwise everything else seems fine. I like the shading you did. Didn't know you could be that detailed with watercolors. The eye looks nice. The shading really stands out and is impressive. Overall good job!

I honestly don't know what to make of your comment. I haven't tried to avoid or get around Aether's hair style. I personally like how his hair turned on this time, and will probably stick with this hair style. Sorry if you have a problem with it.

Wow. This is truly a stupendous picture!!! The hand-coloring really adds heart to it, yet the Photoshop touch-up makes it look so very clean and nice!!! As for the "too much hair" issue, well...there's no such thing as too much hair. I'm sure his ego makes him use expensive hair care products, so that's why he's got so much body to that luscious mane. He truly does look devious and interesting!!! Enough so to force me to check out those links you've provided. Thanks for being a good artist and sharing your art with all of us here.
