It's not that I don't try hard, but in my school they care more about how you do things than about your self-improving. That's why I hate P.E, because I've improved a lot. Although sometimes I wish my parents would ignore me. I'd prefer getting ignored to getting yelled at. My mom and I have very similar stubborn personalities, so we butt heads a lot. Today, we were at a craft store for a project and long story short we got in an argument, and I was gonna go to another craft store. I had gotten a little teary, but I wasn't crying hard or anything, but my nose got a little runny. I SNIFFED and my mom kinda yelled at me. I would seriously rather be ignored than everyone complaining about everything I do. I kinda isolate myself because of that.

What I meant was, I wish my mom would stop yelling at me over stupid stuff. She used to yell at me for whistling all the time. I have mild Tourette's. Very mild, but it's there.
I don't know what you should do. Tell him how you feel, and if that don't work, do that.
I don't want to sound like I'm turning this back to myself, but I just remembered how I used to feel like I wasn't the favorite child, even though I'm an only child. My friends with siblings would complain that they felt that their parents favored their siblings over them, and I would say that I felt like I wasn't the favorite even though I'm the only and they kinda disregarded that. Basically, I was saying I felt like my parents didn't like me and preferred some nonexistant child of theirs over me.
