I love the contrast in dark and light colors (o: even though there is so much blue, it works because of the dark black you swirl in :]
Good job with the blending tool, smear is my favorite tool!
Also i love how you used the drip tool, i always have issues with it, but you used it very successfully. Do you plan on making one of these for all the characters? If so i would love to see how you make Terezi's, Kanaya's, and Gamzee's.
