Here Comes a Thought (Original Song): www.youtube.com/watch?v=dHg50m…((Listening to the song and it's lyrics will better explain this picture. xD Anyways, I heard this song like the day it came out and I was just AWESTRUCK by it. Seriously, I actually cried from hearing it, because it just kind of got to me. And after I handled all of my emotions, I was able to get my sketchbook and drew something like this up!
I might have a second part added to this for Chara. But I'm not sure yet. xP Anyways, I hope you all like it. It took a lot longer than I thought it would and I honestly could have put more effort into it, but I think it gets the message across or the generalization of it. x3But if you're all still wondering what's going on with the picture, just leave a comment and I'll happily explain~

((AWWW that's actually really cute and I love that ;u; I feel like UF Babybones Papyrus would be a little brat, but he'd really be best behaved around his parents because he wants to be favored over Sans. And Sans-- despite Papyrus being the younger brother, he gets bullied by him very frequently. This is because Papyrus has figured out that if he mocks or hurts Sans, Sans won't hit him back because he's the younger one.

((It's not really a medical mask. It's like this...thing. I don't really know what it's called. xP And yeah, I imagine Gaster being EXACTLY that. xD Someone already did a version of that, and he's kind of how I picture it. Someone also drew him in armor, and I just imagined Calibri swooning just a bit over it, because it would surprise her but also she would adore it all more because it's still Gaster in a way. x'D And Calibri just goes through the universes searching for her family. Kind of what the original did, but since she's still kind of a Calibri through and through, she fixes broken patches here and there in the universes. Just small things, not the whole thing.))

It had been a long day and since Papyrus and Sans just had managed to get to recess after an hour of math which felt like a year to Papyrus and only briefly for Sans since he understood numbers really well. Sans got to finally sit down and just sleep off the recesses like he did when he was smaller at least he was having way more fun than being tormented and tested on. Though as he tried to rest against the corner of the building he noticed a figure he didn't want to see again. He immediately summoned a blaster aiming right at his own father. However Gaster was just as skilled when it came to it. Sans wouldn't give up that easily and stepped in front of Papyrus to protect him as he fought him. He gave Papyrus the phone to call Calibri while he fought Gaster. Papyrus scrambled on the phone trying to press the button to call Calibri as he was crying while he tried to tell her the situation. Sans avoided the bones coming his way and the blasters though it was starting to wear him out. He was struck by a blaster and he crashed right into a tree as snow covered his unconscious body. Papyrus cried louder. "Mommy! Sans is dead!" He cowered as Gaster got closer. "No! Let us be! We don't want to go back!"

At the news to that, Calibri dropped everything for her puzzle trap and rushed off towards the school. Bruno, who was on patrol with her today, rushed after her. But it was a bit of a challenge, since she was smaller and faster, and quite literally a skeleton. By the time she made it to the playground, she gave a battle cry at the sight of not only Gaster, but the damage to the poor monster children's playground.
"YOU COLD HEARTED, DISPICIBLE, CRUEL MAN!!" Yelling out, bones were summoned around her, and luckily for everyone, Bruno the Dog managed to get all of the kids out of the vicinity of the school so the two parents could...."talk" it out.
"You come to me, asking for my heart, then you lie to my face every day from then on, use me for your experiments, and then you use our children who I had no knowledge of until it was too late!! And then you come here, trying to take them away again?! You even....even... my Sans..." Shivering, Calibri's soul burned brightly and Gaster Blasters were summoned all around her, each one growling menacingly at the scientist that helped create them. "You will be judged for your crimes, Gaster!!"

Gaster remained unfazed. He knew it was too late to go back so he wouldn't go back. "They're the key to the barrier." He responded as he gave off an ominious aura. It was obvious that he had succumbed to the work and the ways of opening the barrier and it made him insane. "Using you was never the part of my plan. I still love you. I love all of you..but i've got no dignity left as what i am is nothing more but an abomination of feelings." He was going to fight it out with Calibri summoning a line of blasters to fight her with. "My apologies dearie. This is for the best." He was aiming to be demolished anyways so it was the perfect moment. Papyrus tried to get to his brother as he kept digging the amount of snow off of him. "No! He can't die! Brother!!" It was simply too much snow and he was deeply buried and unresponsive. "M-mom! Sans is under the snow and i can't get to him! Help!" He cried for help as he kept digging as fast as he could shortly finding his leg. He noticed Gaster was already prepared to fight her and seeing him without feelings reminded him of what he learned at school. People without souls couldn't feel anything but he had to have a soul deeply inside of himself. Somewhere that was begging for help and for it all to stop.

Calibri stopped to look over at Papyrus. It was only momentary, before she jumped and dodged a shot from a blaster. Darn, if this kept up she would actually have to...She steered clear of that thought and rushed over to Papyrus' side once she summoned bones to distract Gaster. She and Papyrus dug through as much snow as they could before they finally found Sans. He was still in one piece. Calibri never felt more elation in her life as she held her child close. "Heh, my Sans...I'm so glad you're alright." Looking back to Gaster, she frowned a bit when he made it through most of the bones. She only had a few moments left before he brought his attention back to her. So with a sigh, she brought a blaster of her own forth and placed Papyrus and Sans onto it.
"Papy, do you remember that giant dog you saw earlier? He's a friend of Mommy's. When you see him, tell him to take you over to sir Gerson's. He's another friend of Mommy's. Mr. Bruno and Mr. Gerson will both keep you safe so long as they know you're my children. But I need you to be a brave boy, okay? Can you do this for me, sweetie? Can you be mommy's little soldier?" she asked him. Gaster was already going through her blasters now. He hadn't noticed them just yet.

Papyrus hesitated when he heard that since he was so afraid of what was going to occur. Sans was still unconscious so he couldn't do anything and all the responsibility went right to him. He thought about it then nodded with his full confidence. "I'll do my best! I'll make sure Sans is okay too. So you don't have to worry, mommy. I'll..protect him." He hugged Sans closely as they left the school yard in a hurry on her blaster. "We need to hurry! Please..Sans hold on. Don't give up yet. You never give up on me!" Gaster was breaking her bones with ease but already by that moment the children were gone. His grin became more ominious and twitched as he surrounded her with blasters though he was reaching his limit slowly but surely. Fighting Calibri wouldn't be easy since both of the children was filled with her determination. "I see..so that's what you did. No matter...we'll surely break out of this barrier..slowly but at a steady pace." He wasn't listening to reason anymore as he sent bones as well towards her path while the blasters fired away. Papyrus could hear them fighting from a mile away which made him sob. Once they reached the giant dog he called out to him. "Help! Please! You need to get us to mister Gerson. We're C-Calibri's children. Our dad attacked us and now my brother isn't waking up." He weeped cuddling his brother closely.

"And then what, Gaster?! We break out and then what? Your studies, your work, all of it will go up in smoke the moment everyone realizes what you did! The moment the humans see what you're capable of, they'll fight! And I....I never wanted that, Wing..." she said, dodging the blasts with a high enough jump. "Before all of this...before the children...before that barrier was ever up, you and I were so happy. You used to be so happy. I...I recall the days where you and I would dance underneath the crystals in Waterfall. Or the time we had that snowball fight with the monster children in Snowdin. I had never heard you laugh so much~ And then the time you went a whole day telling me jokes. I know I said they were annoying, but I was lying. And you knew I was. I loved it when you told me your jokes. I loved it when you whispered puns to me every night. Because you were the one telling them to me...because you were the one making me smile each and every time...!" Tearing up at the memories, she summoned more blasters and they all flew towards his, fighting and distracting them. With the distraction, she rushed forward to face Gaster, a red bone staff in one hand as more tears streamed down her cheekbones, but still she was determined. "But now you don't feel anything...and I just wonder if I ever even really mattered. If anything of ours mattered. From our entire relationship to even our children. Because even though Sans won't admit it, you matter so much to us..." With a shout, she took a swing at Gaster, just hoping he would give up. Hoping he wouldn't fight. Hoping he would just...run and ask for mercy, because Asgore did she want to spare him.
After all the children had returned to their homes, Bruno paused when he heard something fly towards him. Seeing the other two on top of his leader's blaster, he brought them into his arms and nodded his head. "Don't worry, little one. Any member in Calibri's family is a friend of old Bruno's here. Now just you two hold on. We'll get to Waterfall in no time." And with a small howl, Bruno was off with the skeletons, heading right towards the boat person so they could send them to Waterfall. Luckily, Calibri wasn't the only one on the team who knew how to use a bit of healing magic.

Gaster listened to her even if he had a twisted look on his features. This made it hurt so badly and for a while he refused to believe he had any feelings left for anyone but this. He couldn't ignore it anymore and just disappeared once he was struck. He couldn't bring himself to hurt Calibri's feelings anymore than he already was by being present. He kept his eyes closed as he wouldn't need to look at her sad face. It was bottled up feelings and even by then he couldn't be forgiven. Instead he would let himself vanish back to where he originally was staying. He wouldn't come out ever to hurt their feelings again. However no matter how crazy he had become he still loved his family. He kept that in mind when he smiled at her. At this point both of them were really going through broken feelings of what was going on. Him using the children for their own gain breaking Calibri's heart. He couldn't bear it any longer.
Papyrus was still sobbing even though he was told not to worry. He was scared of his brother and he was worried of Calibri. He wasn't sure if she was okay but he deeply prayed and hoped everyone was allright. The school day turned out to be the worst of them all. He kept hugging closely to his unconscious brother as he still didn't wake up from the hit. He shook him a little but he didn't stirr. This worried him even more but the good part was that he was breathing like he was asleep. He petted his brother's skull thene sniffled to himself. "Mommy come get us soon. Sans needs you too..i..i'll be strong..I'll be a very strong royal guardian for Sans. That's what i'll do when i grow up. I'll protect him since..he barely could fight dad and..i was so useless. I'll train very hard!"

When he disappeared, so did his blasters. But the damage was done. The playground was destroyed...along with Calibri's heart. She fell to her knees in the snow, red tears dripping down and staining the pure white snow red. Most of her blasters disappeared too...except for one. It flew up to her slowly and nuzzled into her side, purring softly and sadly. It knew of its masters feelings...and it felt great sorrow for her. And with a sob, Calibri held the blaster close as best as she could, crying her poor heart out once more.
By the time they made it to Gerson, he was in his little cave, making something to eat. At the sight of Bruno with two skeleton children in his arms, he knew just what was going on and motioned the man over. Inside Gerson's home was a tiny bed. Sans was placed there and with a small hum, green-blue magic enveloped Sans, healing him and his soul. "Now, this won't be an instantaneous thing, sonny. Your brother used quite a bit of magic and was dealt quite the blow...he'll need to rest for just a bit until he finally awakens," Gerson told Papyrus as he continued to heal Sans. Bruno sat beside the kid, his large paw placed gently onto the youngest brother's shoulder.
"Yeah, but he'll be alright! I heard what you said, though. And your mom would be very proud of you. You were so brave."

Gaster was long gone and the sight from the playground was ominious and sad. The school was closed down due to the major items ruined such as some of the school and the property of the school. But truly was Gaster gone forever? It only remained to be seen. The teachers at the school wanted to help Calibri but they stayed close to the children in case anything else would happen. Papyrus listened to the both of the adults explaining that he had just used too much magic. Over the limit of what he was capable of in order to save him. "I'm going..to be a royal guardian too. So i can protect my brother better than this. I...i wasn't able to do anything and..if i could do something i..he..he wouldn't be in this state." He blamed himself for it but he was aiming for the royal guard for this reason. To protect the ones he loved. Sans wasn't waking up anytime soon since he still had yet to recover. "We..we were at school when he came to attack us. Mom wasn't there..so i..i called mom." He explained though it was really hard for him to do. He wanted to hold his brother's hand. He wanted to go back and find Calibri but he knew it was too dangerous to do that. No one knew where Gaster went to. Papyrus looked at Bruno. "How long..will he be sleeping?"

Bruno shrugged. "Not sure. I never really understood healing magic. I use power magic, instead! Kind of why some of the monsters down here refer to me as Bruno the Bruiser~!" he laughed a bit. "But...If I were to guess, it should only take a couple hours. Think of it like him taking a nap. But until he wakes up...why don't we get you something hot to drink? Maybe some tea? I always make some for when my pups get upset. I'm sure you'll like it! The king always makes some for monsters when they're down too. It's a good method~" he laughed a bit more as he took Papyrus' hand. But he noticed how he didn't want to leave Sans' side. Gerson noticed too and sent him a smile, though he still continued to heal the brother skeleton.
"It'll be okay, sonny. Why don't you go with Bruno and I'll let you know if he wakes up. Now would be a good time for him to rest and relax. And maybe you should get some rest too. Relax until your mother gets here. You both had quite a day, today."

He knew they were right but he never left Sans's side since they were created. He gave his brother a small hug before he looked at Bruno. "My brother loves ketchup. So i hope he can have some when he wakes up." Papyrus looked ocassionally towards Sans and Gerson. He nodded as he smiled feeling more at ease. He wasn't as worried anymore. "Take good care of brother. He is my hero." He looked happy as he followed Bruno. But he couldn't help thinking about his mother. He hoped she was okay. "I am still worried about mom..she told us to go so fast that she wouldn't say that she would be allright..or maybe she did. I don't remember because i was so scared. Is..is my mom okay? Do you know, Bruno?" He hoped he at least had some information even though he just met him. He knew himself that probably they had just as much information as Papyrus. "Can we go back there soon..i want to see mother." He would sit down into a chair looking thoughtful about what happened and why Gaster tried to get to them. There had to be a reason other than trying to capture them back. Something else he couldn't wrap his head around.

"I'm sure your mother is okay. You see, she's...pretty much the strongest monster in the Underground! Well, I'm not sure if she's stronger than the king, but she did train under him! And not many monsters ever so such a thing! She even beat him!" he recalled the story with a smirk. "It was when that happened that she became the Captain! She was the best! Summoning bones to fight off the enemies, dodging thousands of arrows, fighting against swords and axes, she's just amazing! Me and the rest of the guys are honored that she picked us to be part of her team. The moment she came up to me during training, I nearly barked in surprise. It was such a surprise. Before, she always worked alone. But then she came around the training ground and just sort of...watched. That's when she picked people for her team. We've just kind of become close friends ever since."
He told him as they went into the kitchen and started to make the tea. "And we'll go back when...things settle down. We've only been here for a few minutes."

"But i need to know if mommy is okay." Papyrus exclaimed though he was right. He couldn't wander around aimlessly. He had to be patient and he understood that. When he listened to his store Papyrus's eyes was sparkling with interest. He really wanted to join the royal guard as fast as possible. So he could protect his brother and become strong just like his mother. He looked very excited. "I want to join too. Tell me where i can sign up! I want to become like mom! I want to be strong." He almost was standing in his chair looking very impatient. "I'm going to train hard and my brother will never suffer again like this. Mom knows i can do it. My brother knows i can do it. Everyone knows..so i'm going to stay strong and do it! Nyheheheh!" He laughed proudly. This certainly cheered him up by a mile and in a few hours Sans stirred and woke up from his long lasted sleep. He cringed a little when he woke since his body was still aching a little. "Where..what happened?" He asked out loud looking around the place then looked for his brother. "Papyrus?" This worried him a little.

Gerson smiled a bit and placed a hand onto his shoulder. "Easy, sonny. Your brother is fine. He's here drinking tea with a friend of mine. You both are safe here. Actually, it was your mother who sent you boys to my friend so he could come here to me. I'm not quite the best healer like your mother, but I can still get the job done after a while. Anyways, just rest up a bit. I need to make sure you're really okay to move. From what your brother told me, you took quite the hit.....You know...way back when...your old man wasn't like this. He was once a good soul. Well, before he was kinda a shut in. But when Calibri showed up, she got him seein' as much of the Underground and its people as she could. I met him once...he was actually a really smart fella. Nice too for a time...but then it got quiet. Too quiet. Calibri got upset...so she visited. And then she found you two. Gotta say...I'm a little surprised of what he did. No monster should do that to anyone, let alone children," he commented, still healing the tiny skeleton.

"We..didn't really understand either. He said it was for the greater good of every monster. We didn't even understand what he meant by that. He taught us..how to speak and walk. Since walking was so hard..he helped us..but he said constantly that we couldn't get too attached to him." He narrowed his eyes a bit then rested against the pillow. "I saw his face when he hit me..i don't think he meant it..he felt so broken. I know it doesn't..excuse his actions but he wanted to help. Instead..he became insane." He cringed again then calmed down. He felt it was useless to cry of something like that but he was feeling sad anyways. He ignored it as he waited for his brother to come back. "It's good that my brother is okay..i don't remember anything after i hit the tree..he..saved me." He perked up when his brother came back to him with a tea cup in his hands. "Sans! You're awake! That's great~!" He smiled happily wanting to hug him but he made sure to give it to Sans or at least help him drink it. "Mom is okay. She's going..to get us when she's ready. While we're waiting..i'm going to protect you bro!" Papyrus seemed eager and proud to be joining the royal guard. Sans eyes sparked thinking he was very cool.

Coming over to see Sans and Papyrus, Bruno smiled at them both and sat down beside Gerson, who was still healing Sans up a bit. "Nice to see that you're okay, kid! Your mom was really worried about ya. Speaking of which..." he whispered to Gerson a bit, who nodded his head and smiled as Bruno left the room. Actually, he left the cave entirely. He was going to go and get his Captain.
"Anyways, lads...would you both like anything to eat? I know I have some Crab Apples here somewhere...!" he muttered to himself a bit as he tried to recall where he had them. Ever since he had started a family, he had begun to age. And as his age began to slip, so too did his memory. But how he started a family was far different from how Gaster and Calibri did it. So they didn't age like most monsters would. It was perplexing, but considering Gaster was the one who had a hand in their children's creation in the first place...well, no one would be surprised, anymore.

She had cried her last tear. Eye sockets bleary and red, she stared blankly into the distance as she held her blaster. The creature purred softly into its master's arms, its own eye sockets still worried and saddened. Foot steps came towards her and she slowly turned her gaze up to them. A man made entirely of flame stared down at her, his own eyes saddened at the state she was in. He kneeled down and cupped her cheek, wiping away the last tear which had stubbornly held onto her. It didn't take much to read her friend's face.
"...I...I still love him, Grillby....I still love him and yet I feel like I can't save him...! What do I do, Grillby? What do I do?!" she shivered and was instantly brought into her best friend's arms. He held her close until Bruno finally came towards them. The large dog whined and knelt down to bring her into his arms too.
"We'll find a way, Captain. Don't worry...We'll get the old Doctor back. We just...have to stay determined. Like you always say."

"I'm okay..i think." Sans didn't seem too sure about it since he was still hurting a little bit but he was more happy that Papyrus was fine and not in pain as well. Papyrus looked at Gerson then smiled. "I'll help you find the crab apples. My brother needs alot of nourishment because he's healing." He wanted to help his brother in any way and shape performed but he still hoped for his mother to come by and get them soon. Gaster was back in his lab thinking what he had done. "Unforgiveable...i'm a real..monster." Gaster covered his head then turned towards the core. Sans couldn't help but feel the weird feeling of someone talking to him and then vanishing. He couldn't make much of the words so he decided to ignore it for now. He noticed Bruno was gone and that made him think that she was going to come back very soon. However she wouldn't know how broken she could get and the thought worried him. Gaster was his dad after all. He crawled out of the bed he was laying on and towards the exit hoping he could see them approach but he couldn't see anyone. He wanted Calibri back and safe as soon as possible. "What if..mother is hurt? What if she won't come back?" He looked more worried than he already was. Papyrus came back with Gerson noticing Sans had left the bed and was staring at the exit. "Brother! What are you doing? You're not healthy yet! You have to come back into bed!"

By the time Calibri had calmed down, she gave them a smile before she got up. "Thank you, my dearest friends...Now I must return to my children. They must be so worried...And Sans! Is he alright, Bruno!" she asked while gripping his arm. The dog smiled and nodded his head.
"Yes, he's doing just fine. He woke up just a few moments ago and Gerson is still healing him a bit. But we should hurry....after what Gaster did and what he's like now, I worry of what he'll do. He's borderline unstable, Calibri...and if he gets any worse....well..."
"No. It's not going to come to that. I refuse for it to all end like that! Besides...Papyrus would never forgive me if I left Gaster to...fall. I wouldn't forgive myself either. He needs help and guidance...and maybe with a bit of help...I can show him back to the light again! I am after all named Calibri Light~ I'll show him the good and just way!" Smiling proudly, she turned towards the direction to the Boat Person. "But first, my children need me. Grillby, Bruno, you both may return to your homes or duties. I'll be fine on my own. But I thank you for all that you've done. You both shall be rewarded with sweets!" Bruno groaned just a bit.
"Calibri, any more sweets and I'll bust right through my armor..."
"SWEETS~!!" And with that, she was off towards the boat person. She was going to see her boys. "Wait for me, Sans, Papyrus. Mommy's on her way!"

Sans was restless as he was lead back to the bed again by Papyrus. He was more than worried about his health. "I know you're worried about mom. But..she's strong. She said so..stronger than the entire Underground and Asgore! Imagine that..brother. I'm going to become just as strong to protect you, Sans. Mom is going to be so proud of us both." He kept praising and encouraging Sans into thinking differently but while he was talking Sans dozed off into sleep dreaming of what Gaster tried to tell him. It seemed distant but he could hear faint wing dings sounds before his words were created. "Child...you're not...monster..you're not..but only a thing." Sans started sweating from the nightmare and shortly enough he woke up to a startled Papyrus since he didn't notice he fell asleep. "Brother! You..said some weird things while i was talking..are you okay?" Papyrus asked then Sans only grinned. "Yeah..only..a nightmare. About him. Our..dad i think? He called me a thing." He looked back at Papyrus then noticed he was pouting. "No..! Mother told us we're not things! We're monsters. Healthy monsters. So we shouldn't listen to what dad said in the past. He didn't mean it..i believe it." He grinned. Sans started to believe that too. Gaster covered his head trying to shake off the feeling he got. His soul was shattering and it was hurting when he worked. He was determined to finish what he started but he felt like he had lost everything. "....Calibri..forgive me. I can no longer control myself. No matter who and what..i'll attack without reason. Please..take good care of the boys." He spoke to himself.
