So i cant decide what style i want to draw ponies in.... here are two different styles i have so far, top is a little more detailed that the simplistic at the bottom. Which one is better?

1) Is a scene After Sandshine's half sister is assaulted by the heir to the Tramplevania's throne. After Pepper, Sandy's little sister, is assaulted she runs to Sandshine and cries as she tells what happened. Sandshine Tries her best to comfort her sobbing sibling. This also shows that Sandy is a tall Batpony, and is often mistaken for a stallion. Sandshine is the illegitimate daughter of the captain of the guard in Tramplevania. She was a complete accident and is left in her father's care, while her mother is betrothed to one of the noblestallions of the Court of Tramplevania. As she is raised by him, he turns her everyday into a training session to eventually succeed him and become Captian of the guard. However Pepper become pregnant after her encounter with the Duke's son. After Pepper realizes she is with foal, Sandy takes her away and they run as far and as fast as they can away from the brute that assaulted her. They are on the run for nearly and entire year. One day they get caught in a forest fire and durring the stress and running from the fires Pepper goes into labor. Forcing Sandshine to carry her. Sandy is caught between not flying to high beccause of the smoke, but not too low so Pepper doesnt get burned. In the end Sandshine takes a lot of damage keeping Pepper safe. Eventually Sandshine crashes near the Ponniville hospital, and refuses treatment until the nurses and doctors see to Pepper. After they take pepper to delivery, Sandshine blacks out. She wakes up later in a hospital bed with all kinds of bandages on her.

2) Sandshine hearing Pepper was safe and mostly unharmed, gets out of her hospital bed and roams Poniville looking for a house to rent from her and Pepper and pepper's new foal. Of course she leaves the hospital against the wishes of the doctors and nurses, but she couldnt wait to get pepper a home. The bandages hide the fact that Sandshine is a batpony, and she meets a pretty mare named Vanilla Breeze, whom shows her around and helps find her a home that the earthpony's cousin is renting out. at this point No one but the hospital staff and Pepper knows that Sandshine is a batpony.

the second drawing doesnt show Sandy's size properly.... i'll make a size chart someday.
