Description
Aodhfin, cursed by the power of the solar eclipse, receives a visit upon the next eclipse. The one known to mortals as Jasta (aka Lunovia) appears in the sky above him. Next to her is K'Nera, her sibling and the Seer deity of this realm. Together, they tell Aodhfin of Jasta's mortal grandson who was kidnapped at birth and is in need of rescue, asking for his help with their assistance. Is Aodhfin able to set aside his grief enough to rescue this lost little soul? Or will the babe forever be trapped in a world he was not born into? Aodhfin's grandmother, the deity known as Alypsia, arrives on scene with Novalie, older half sister to the lost fawn. They must work together to find the poor child and save their ancestors from an invisible threat before it's too late.

Jasta aka Lunovia - blue, Celestial form
K'Nera - White. Gender fluid, so they can present as male or female. This is their first art depicted as male, and a celestial form)
Aodhfin - aka Finny, son to my former character Calida, now owned by someone else. Finny belongs to Krisaur, and is found at the bottom. Just a tiny little barely-lit shadow of a figure down there. He's tiny compared to the deities.

This piece took me a good long while to do, but I was able to put into practice some new things I finally learned (clipping and masking....took me over 13 years to finally figure out what my issue was. Also learned custom scatter brush). I tried to not over-think the scenery, and I love how it turned out. I still need practice, obviously, but I felt like a Bob Ross painter doing those happy little trees. I tried to take his technique and apply them in a digital way using the right brush textures, and it worked out really well, for the most part. And I love doing the backlight/shadow style of art too. I'll be doing more like this in the future with some of the other 2nd gen family members in their celestial forms.
