If any of my visitors traveled in Central America during the 1990s, I'm sure you'll remember "La Chica Fresita". Just about every bus and taxi driver had this image (it was an air freshener) hanging from their rear-view mirror or visor. It was one of those small details of life that you don't think about at the time, but when you see it years later, it makes you think about the passage of time and how different your life can become.

I ran across this picture and wow... did it bring back a lot of memories.
