She kept silent as Cahal spoke, trying to keep her attention wrapt, despite it wanting to wander off into the snow fields. She had to admit, as Cahal voiced the small worries that shimmered in her mind, it was comforting in it’s own way. Knowing that someone so strong and mature could feel the same way.

But she wasn’t expecting for her attention to slip so quickly back to her. She steadied herself with the knowledge the Cahal’s worries weren’t unlike her own, just milder.

“Well, I just… I worry. This place is so bitter and cold, it’s dangerous and nothing we’ve seen before. But yet this is our new home?” She had to stop for a moment, trying not to let all of her thoughts spill out at once, taking a breath before she continued. “We traveled so far, following what, a ghost?” It almost hurt to say the words, her thoughts circling back to her dead father and how he spoke of Rowena when he had lived.

Edit: I just realized I finished this before Cahal's reference update, so I may go fix her eyebrows later, wOOPS

Yet another RP i've wanted to revisit in someway, Aislin and Cahal have known each other since they were little, but barely spoke. But with their new home and the tides of change rolling over the pack, perhaps they can get to know one another better when helping one another.
