My first conservatory piece! Actually had another one sketched out before this one but I decided to continue on with this one instead because I liked the greyscale more!I decided that I shouldn't neglect my requesk journal as much as I have and always ask on discord because it's really not fair so I've started working through it again~
I will admit I didnt pay appropriate attention to each esks size.... so please forgive me there :I
Random comment: Falk (the dark one in the center) is a really overlooked esk imo, I think his design is absolutely gorgeous!! But that's just personal preference cx

WAAAHHH this is a wonderful thing to come home too after having a crappy day. oh my stars!!! thank you so much for painting my pain-in-the butt marble boy, he looks so regal ;___; I love the scenery of the image, I wish I could be there swimming in that water surrounded by all those lovely greens. I think both images are lovely!! please don't be too hard on yourself :C

Aaaaaa little Song is so adorable! Floating there and looking like a proper ray, hahah. Other than all the cute Esk here I really love how lush and sunny the environment looks like. I can almost feel warmth emanating from it!

It looks so great! And I am sure that if you keep working this way, you will learn to also work on the greyscale in a way that its easier to color afterwards ^^
If you want bright colors and look in general, work with smaller contrast etc

hehe yeah I guess detailing in greyscale doesn't make much sense unless you plan to put a gradient map over it for colour and leave it at that cx
I think I'll just use greyscale for thumbnails and then do the actual painting in colour ; v ; but thanks so much for your help~
