I have a few more of these sketched out and I plan to do all the gems eventually. I thought of a young Helen Mirren as inspiration for Pearl. Originally I didn't think I would like her that much, but she's grown on me as the series has progressed. With some set backs. But you can't deny that she does love Steven and I very much love her fighting style.Related content

Pearl is definitely one of those characters it's easy to have a love/hate relationship with. I always loved her motherly doting on Steven, but she can be extremely selfish sometimes and snobbish.
