This is Stella, the sweet mother-in-law of a good friend. Sadly Stella passed away quite recently and I was both honoured and touched to be asked by my friend, to paint this lovely lady's portrait, for her husband's birthday. So happy to hear that he loves the portrait of his mum. I'm told she was a very accomplished artist too, which made my painting of her even more special.
