I love this!! The sign, the model, it's perfect! Her colorful shirt like her colorful heart (gay people are cooler then straight people because our hears are rainbow). But my favorite part is the look on the models face. She looks like she is peeking out from behind the sign, as though scared and excited of waht is going to happen next. She looks happy, because she is finally open, but the little peeking motion is like a nervousness cause now her mom knows and can either take it or leave it. OR I could be reading way too much into an awesome picture

I came out to all of my friends, but none of my family. I sort of let it slip with my mom but we had this big discussion about how just because I'm bi, doesn't mean I'm attracted to everyone in the world. And how its not a matter of choice and blah blah blah, so now she acts like I never said it and I try never to mention it at all.

I know that they ignore a part of us, and it does feel horrible, but I'd rather be partly ignored than completely ignored and isolated...you know what I mean?
Like, I don't know how the rest of my family would react...there are no Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual or Transgendered people on EITHER side of my family...I'm the first to be different in that sense.
Like really...my Nonna was against me colouring my hair red, and yells at home about the people who get tattoos...I'm sort of afraid to even go near the subject of my sexuality with them...so it shall stay hidden for a loooong looooong while until I have someone to be with

what do you mean by hardness? but i mean i have told my friends and the only family member who knows is my cousin....they support me...but my mom is christian and my dad catholic....my granmother hardcore buddhist....

If you told your friends and cousin and you have their support, then I think you don't have to come out to your parents. This can cause so many problems, I mean this hardness.

yeah well....blah...but i dont exactly like talking to my grandma....she does all the talking and always says negative things...and i dont think she even knows what gay, lesbian let alone what bisexual means....blah....oh well....i guess i'm pretty content in my friends and cousin knowing....

btw my step father is from turkey
It is not very different in Turkey, but there are some solidarity groups and they arrange solidarity days, walkings, etc. This is one of them. If you could come to Turkey one day, I can take you one of these groups
