I was listening to the radio while drawing this and that song came on and I had never actually listened to the words before, but it just seemed to fit! Those who read my fics will understand more of my point of view on this.
I love the idea of Zelda dressed as Shiek... but still Zelda =3 So, yeah, here she is! This is to make up for the old pic I have of Sheik in my gallery. This one does her much better justice, I believe.

I will admit I never got why people think Shiek is a girl; I mean in the Temple of time right before you fight Gannondorf, you meet Shiek there and she turns into Zelda in a flash of light, and appoligizes for keeping the truth from Link.

This also sort of illustrates that quote from TCE that's something like "To her, Sheik was absolute freedom", where Zellie is looking in the mirror in her room
Seriously, this picture and the fact that Link and Zelda ended up married were one of the reasons I really got into your fics....and the rest is history

Anyways I love your version of Sheik and of course her hair turned out amazingly. The idea I like the most about this deviation is that you show that she could still be feminine and tough at the same time.

as fer my li'l ol' opinion (which probly doesn't matter a whole lot, seeing as i didn't play the game myself), i would say that shiek's main purpose was to be a disguise, and disguising as a guy was the best way to go, since she would be too recognizable as a girl. they are both the same, though one is only to deceive.
