Well, I don't think I'm qualified to say which is better. I personally like the new piece more than the earlier one.

One is solid Classical Formalism & the other is not...
While I was away I remade the 1971 PC Redraw so it is much better than when I first made it...
It took months to make because all the larger lines are made with perspective...
I had to cover over the edges of sections I had to use in order to get the chevron with white...
It required 4 in all & figuring out how to hide the black ends of each of them was not an easy task...
The one you like so well took about 1 hour & that is it...

That's good because the original is black, white & yellow - the yellow faded after the years so when I did the Redraw I knew how bright the yellow was originally...
When I uploaded the remake yesterday many people loved it especially this guy from Greece who cannot get enough of my Classical Formalism [the original Redraw was lost due to Norton turning a trojan loose in my PC in mid 2007 so all I had of it was on a CD]
