When I look at this photo, I feel that we are just a spot on the timeline, with no start or end. You could sit there and watch the tree move to the wind while the skies softly pass.
Overall I think this picture is good technically, you have balanced it well with darker colours on the right that weigh up for the tree. The horizon is horizontal and you placed the tree close to The Golden Ratio.
I think the colour tone you choose for this photo is really good, because it makes you get this feeling that you're drifting, watching the time pass and just being a part of something bigger. Another thing I like is this spots over the tree, don't know if their actually in the photo, or if it's something you added later, but it just seems right and make it all more harmonic.
All in all this is a very good and harmonic photo that has good balance. Personally I would have moved the tree a bit to the right and the horizon a bit down, but that's just my thoughts, there nothing wrong with how it's now. There is also a bit grain I would have got rid of.
