Fucking Capcom and his "I won't make my characters running ever" attitude.

Not many of their titles use running as an in-game mechanic, so it never really came up. Even for later 2d titles such as Capcom vs SNK 2, the newer frames made didn't quite match up well in a number of cases to be honest due to what seems to be a general talent drain and just plain not having the same caliber of artists with classical 2d animation knowledge on staff at that point.

You talk about the 3D fighting games? running won't make the fight unfair or anything like that, personally it bothers me having to doble tap that much for just one little front leap, it's really annoyin being not able to reach those proyectile abusers at the corner, specially in ST, I dontΓ© really get how some characters have doble jump, or a corner jump, but they just don't seem to know how to run, it's just silly.

No, mostly refer to part of the reasons why there are a lack of running animations in general for the 2d titles; as for why so many of Capcom's titles have no running period, that's a whole other ballgame.

I guess most of people don't worry about that kind of things because Capcom used to be top seller in arcade fighting games people got used to, here where I live KOF series had a bigger impact, therefore I got used to being able to run in fighting games, I think tha't why I just can't stand having to just use those little ass leaps, running it makes the game more fluid and quick, although I abuse of super jumps from MvC series.

Hi, I am O Ilusionista, a Mugen coder and I have a WIP of Deejay.
Can I use this animation, with the proper credits given?

Ilu, I know who you are. Go ahead with using it, but just make sure to mention the 3 names though.

Hmm? These frames actually do include a lot of leg fixes; to give you an idea of the old animation, imagine what I think were Power Instinct Reiji legs below a CPS2 upper body. Also with two less frames than what you see here, and the legs changed length noticeably.
