Another partial foothold in the mountainous to-do list I have pinned to my bookshelf...For Dave Gordon's 'Babes, Bullets and Blades' book
A Steampunk vampire sitting on an alter flanked by heavy drapes and candles with moonlight pouring in through the gear shaped stained glass window...
Or that's what it will be when it's done.
I started doing this while I was waiting for the inks on a comic page I was doing to dry, which should've taken about 20 minutes, tops... I got carried away though :/ I just started thumb nailing and everything just came flooding in, the pose, the composition, it all just seemed to slot into place really easily, which, I was saying earlier on on ning probably means that I've bloody seen it before somewhere and forgot about it, but fuck it, as far as I'm concerned it's mine! >8D so have that!

I think we need a little more light so we can see the awesome that is her right arm and gauntlet- maybe from the candle on her left side, which doesn't seem to be giving off light?

Ergh, yeah, unfortunately the beam that passes over it totally nerfs the glow from the candle on that side, it is giving off light though, just not as glaring XP

I figured you had a good reason- it's just jarring, having a glow from one and not from the other. Obviously this is a dark scene, I'm not asking you to throw a spot in there...the gauntlet is just so COOL that it's a shame not to see it.
